The famous lamp, designed in 1968, was named after the happy days of Flower Power. Verner Panton, the most remarkable innovative talent of 20th Century design and architecture. His design was consistently brilliant. Verner Panton was not obstructed by limitations that adults incur throughout life. Instead, he thought and created with imaginary vision of a child, in bold beatiful colors and shapes. Of the lamps Verner Panton designed, FlowerPot and Topan stand out as some of the simplest and most memorable designs.
